Chemwang konyak father of late Shomwang Konyak, is still in a state of grave shock after his son lost his life in the incident. Hurt by his son’s demise Chemwang Konyak was in tears as he said, “It would not have been so painful, had they died a natural death. But My son and other were good people who used to work for the society and the Church, therefore it hurts even more.”

Beside, Chemwang Konyak also maintained that the people do not want vengeance or seek revenge against the forces but seeks to know ‘The Truth’ for finding out as to who was wrong or who was right.
