The Mizoram DGP said that these cases were registered withing a short period of time.
DGP Srivastava also highlighted issues like cyber security and drug trafficking that the state has been facing.
The event organised by Mizoram Police in collaboration with the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Aizawl, was inaugurated by Mizoram Governor Dr Hari Babu Kambhampati. Hackathon is expected to create a platform for talented tech students of the NITs all over India, the Mizoram University, Government Zirtiri Residential Science College, NIELIT and the ICFAI University to showcase their skills and creativity.
During this event, the participants will attempt to provide ideas and solutions for solving day-to-day challenges being faced by the police.
