Mizoram quarry collapse: Body of Jahindu Islam, 27 years has been located but is yet to be exhumed and may take more time to be recovered.

11 bodies have been recovered from the tragedy site at Maudarh village in Mizoram’s Hnahthial district, while 1 body still remains to be trapped under the debris.
The last body recovered was identified to be Ajoy Chakma, age 25 years hailing from Khojaisuri in Mizoram’s Lunglei district.
Meanwhile, the body of Jahindu Islam, 27 years has been located but is yet to be exhumed and may take more time to be recovered from under the piles of rubble. According to inputs, the search and rescue operations will continue until the last body is found.
Out of the five excavators buried under the debris, two have been recovered and the service of one would soon be available for the search operation. BSF sniffer dogs are being used to trace the bodies.
