9-Year-Old Mizoram Boy Brady Lalhmangaiha Dies After Goalpost Collapses During Football Match

With countless dreams in his eyes and a future yet to unfold, Mizoram’s 9-year-old Brady Lalhmangaiha tragically died on Saturday during a football match, leaving his family, friends, and the entire community in deep mourning.

Brady Lalhmangaiha was eagerly participating in a sports event organised for the Sunday School children. What was supposed to be a joyful sports event turned into an unimaginable tragedy.

Brady, a beloved member of the Chhinga Vengthlang Presbyterian Church’s Sunday School children’s group was playing as the goalkeeper when unexpectedly, the goalpost collapsed on him.

The impact was severe, and despite immediate efforts to save him, he succumbed to his injuries while being rushed to the hospital.
