Dr Anupam Mishra, Vice Chancellor, Central Agriculture University (CAU), Imphal today called on Mizoram Governor Dr Hari Babu Kambhampati at Raj Bhavan and informed that the problems faced by Mizoram students studying at CAU, Imphal, have been resolved.
On July 31, Samuel Zothanpuia, President, Mizo Students Union (MSU) and his colleagues made a request to Governor Kambhampati for the Mizoram students at CAU, Imphal. The Governor immediately pursued the matter and discussed it with Vice Chancellor, Dr Mishra.
This evening, the Vice Chancellor informed the Governor that the matter had been looked into and considered immediately and arrangements are also being made.
As per the arrangements made by CAU, Imphal, students from Mizoram would be appearing for the examination at the College of Veterinary Science, Selesih. Admission documents would also be submitted in Aizawl and classes would also be held online for these students.
Governor thanked the prompt action taken up by the CAU, Imphal. He also reaffirmed that the situation is calm and peaceful.
