Mizoram Guv reviews devp schemes in Saitual

Mizoram Governor Kambhampati reviews progress of centrally sponsored schemes. Stresses on awareness campaigns among the mass.

Mizoram Governor Haribabu Kambhampati is on a 2-day visit to the Saitual district. After his arrival, Governor Kambhampati reviewed the progress of development schemes initiated to benefit the needy pertaining to power supply, gas connection, water supply, status of schemes under MGNREGA as well as education.

Interacting with concerned officials, the Mizoram Governor said that majority of the population is still unaware of the schemes. The Governor considering this fact urged the officials for creating awareness campaigns.

Besides, Saitual DC VL Hruaizela Khiangte also briefed Governor Haribabu Kambhampati on other aspects including horticulture, agriculture, and eco-tourism pertaining to the district.

The Mizoram Governor also took stock of the ongoing projects and initiatives within the district which included major projects like the construction of DC Office Complex, and the constructions of NH-06 and NH-102B.
