The Meghalaya Police is on the job to take action against those involved in allegedly attacking passersby during a FKJGP rally in Shillong today.
Meghalaya deputy chief minister Prestone Tynsong informed this and maintained that the government has already instructed the police authority to make sure that no untoward incidents take place in the future.
Tynsong maintained that the government and the police will take its own course of action.

The Meghalaya deputy chief minister requested the Federation of Khasi, Jainita and Garo People (FKJGP) as well as other organisations to control their members by clearly stating that the government does not want law and order situation at any cost.
The review meeting was attended by Chief Ministers of Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur and Tripura.
