Meghalaya: Govt to repair, construct over 1000 lower-primary schools
The government has sought a comprehensive report from all the Sub-Divisional School Education Officers on the schools building.
In a bid to develop school infrastructure in Meghalaya, the state government is planning to renovate, repair, and construct lower-primary schools in the state this year.
Meghalaya Education Minister Lahkmen Rymbui confirmed this stating that the government is planning to renovate, repair and construct 1,000 plus lower-primary schools in the state during this current year.
Speaking to Northeast Live, Education Minister Lahkmen Rymbui said that towards achieving this, the government has sought a comprehensive report from all the Sub-Divisional School Education Officers on the schools building which are in dilapidated condition and action will be taken during the current year.
