Meghalaya: Former Congress MLA Nehlang Lyngdoh joins NPP

Former Minister and two-time congress MLA from Meghalaya Nehlang Lyngdoh joined the NPP in Shillong on Wednesday. He was welcomed by NPP national president Conrad Sangma during a joining ceremony.

Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Conrad Sangma said that Lyngdoh’s entry into the party will further strengthen NPP before the 2023 Elections. On the other hand, Lyngdoh said that the party is gaining more popular and is set to win at least 30 seats in the upcoming 2023 Meghalaya Assembly Polls.
