Central & State BJP gears up for 2023 Meghalaya polls
State BJP Chief Ernest Mawrie said he has been directed to strengthen the party from the district, state Mandal, up to the polling booth level.
With Meghalaya all set to go to the polls next year, the central BJP leadership has instructed the State BJP Unit to strengthen its reach and prospects for the state to go to the polls.
State BJP Chief Ernest Mawrie, who had just returned from Delhi on Sunday, said he has been directed to strengthen the party from the district, state Mandal, up to the polling booth level.
Mawrie informed the party had an all-India State Office bearers meeting at Jaipur in Rajasthan chaired by BJP National President JP Nadda and central leaders where PM Modi joined virtually.
He informed discussions were held for States which are about to go for state Assembly elections.
Mawrie added that in December, elections will be held in Gujarat and Rajasthan and the Central leadership has given suggestions on how to go about the elections.
The State BJP Chief then informed that for Meghalaya, the central leadership has given directions and objectives to be completed before the elections to strengthen the party.
The State BJP Chief informed that on May 25, the party is holding the state executive member along with state office bearer, Morcha head, and district presidents will be attending the meeting.
