ZUF signs ceasefire agreement

In a boost to peace in Manipur, the Zeliangrong United Front today signed a Cessation of Operation Agreement with the Centre and the Government of Manipur.

Zeliangrong United Front is an insurgent group of Manipur. The agreement was signed by senior officers of the Union Ministry of Home Affairs and the Govt. of Manipur and the representatives of ZUF in the presence of Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh.
