Manipur Police Recovers Huge Cache of Arms and Ammunitions in Thoubal

These arms and ammunition were recovered during search operations and area domination conducted by security forces in Thoubal.

The Manipur Police have recovered a huge cache of arms and ammunition from Thoubal district on Saturday.

The recovered items include– one single bore barrel (Sniper), one country made rifle, one amogh carbine magazine, three .303 magazine, one HE hand grenade, one detonator, five 7.62 x 39mm live round, six .32 live round, one 9mm live round, six .303 empty case, 4 7.62mm (SLR) empty case, six 7.62 x 39mm empty case, one green smoke 80MK1, two stun shell (N), three tear smoke shell, three TYT Radio set along with antenna, three charger and one adaptor.

These arms and ammunition were recovered during search operations and area domination conducted by security forces in the foothill of Ushoipokpi under Lilong Police Station in Thoubal district.

Earlier, on December 31, 2024, the police recovered two 9 mm pistol with two magazines, one carbine with magazine, one .303 Rifle modified as sniper with scope sight, three single barrel gun, twelve 9mm ammunition, two single barrel ammunition, four hand grenades, one baofeng wireless set one smoke grenade from Imphal West district.
