Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh is a man in a hurry. After promising a crackdown on corruption and drugs trade soon after taking charge for the second term, CM N Biren Singh has now rolled out a 100-day action plan to be executed in the first 100 days of his government.
As per the 100-day action plan, the immediate focus of the government will be on strengthening citizen-centric governance, filling gaps in critical infrastructure, striving for inclusive development of entire state and framing policies for rapid economic growth and promotion of revenue generation.
In a bid to take governance to the doorsteps of people, the state government will direct all Deputy Commissioners, SPs and DFOs and all employees to remain within the jurisdiction of their respective districts without permission from the Chief Secretary, DGP or other higher authorities.
Besides the sub division development mission will also be launched in the state.
Streamlining vigilance and anti-corruption systems, streamlining transfer and posting policy, scaling up chief minister’s health for all scheme, distribution of benefits of 16 thousand beneficiaries under Manipur Old Age Pension scheme, Rs 1000 monthly for 10 thousand widows, distribution of smart phones to 1900 beneficiaries under CM’s e-support scheme and much more, all this will be carried out by the government in the first 100 days.
Besides the Manipur Vision 2047 for all round development of the state will also be finalised in the first 100 days.
The 100-day action plan was launched by CM N Biren Singh in presence of 4 cabinet ministers including Thongam Biswajit.
