Manipur: N Biren Singh keeps Home, Th Biswajit gets Power, Agriculture

The portfolios were allocated to the newly sworn in ministers in Manipur on March 26th. Chief Minister N Biren Singh is in charge of Home Department, Personnel and Administrative Reforms,

The portfolios were allocated to the newly sworn in ministers in Manipur on March 26th. Chief Minister N Biren Singh is in charge of Home Department, Personnel and Administrative Reforms, Confidential and Cabinet department, Vigilance and Anti-corruption department, IT, PLanning and any other departments not allotted to any other minister.

Meanwhile, Th Biswajit has been given charge of the Power Department, Forest, Environment and climate change, Agriculture and Science and Technology departments.

Former speaker Y Khemchand has been assigned Education, Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Department, Housing and urban development department.

PWD and Sports and Youth Affairs have been given to K Govindas while Nemcha Kipgen has been given charge of Textiles, Commerce and industry and Cooperation department.

NPF MLA and minister Awangbow Newmai will take charge of Water Resources and relief and disaster management departments.
