Manipur model crowned first runner-up at Mr. Heritage International 2023

James is also a winner of Rubaru Mr. India 2022 title

In another proud moment for the Northeast, Manipur model Banner Lanamai James has been crowned the first runner-up at the Mr. Heritage International 2023 held in Manila, Philippines. James represented India at the beauty pageant.

In addition, he became the first Mr. India to win the maximum number of international awards. He won the Best in Runway, Best in Resort Wear, Best in Formal Wear, and Mister Elegance special awards.

It’s the highest number of awards ever won by a Mr. India titleholder at any international competition.

Banner Lanamai James hails from Manipur’s Senapati district and belongs to the Poumai Naga tribe in Manipur.

Earlier, James won the Rubaru Mr. India 2022 title. James was also conferred with the Best National Costume Award for his traditional costume that he displayed during the national costume segment of the beauty pageant.
