A day after the first phase of Manipur elections, the Congress has termed polling in the 2 districts of Churachandpur and Kangpokpi as bogus.
Making a big allegation, Congress poll observer for Manipur, Jairam Ramesh said that elections in 9 constituencies under Churachandpur and Kangpokpi districts were far from being free and fair.
The Congress leader also linked this to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union home minister Amit Shah’s visits to the state on February 22nd and 23rd, and the purported support extended to the BJP by KNO.
