Manipur: Rs 67 lakh/annum job for Ukhrul lad

The 22-year old Tangkhul lad has bagged a Rs 67 lakh per annum placement at Singapore based business enterprise, Tolaram Group.

It only needs sheer grit and determination to achieve the goal that one desires by overcoming all obstacles. Similar is the case with Thanpam Kasomhung who hails from Manipur’s Ukhrul district.

The 22-year old Tangkhul lad has bagged a Rs 67 lakh per annum placement at Singapore based business enterprise, Tolaram Group. A student of Indian Institute of Management (Ranchi) Thanpam Kasomhung climbed the ladder despite facing all odds, after losing his parents at a very young age.

He completed his 10th and 12th standard from Sacred Heart Higher Secondary School, Hungpung and his graduation from Mangalore.

Thanpam Kasomhung is currently pursuing an MBA with a major in Marketing and will complete his course in March next year before reporting for work in May. While the placement process is still going on at the IIM-Ranchi, Kasomhung’s offer is said to be the highest in the campus so far.
