2 arrested for possession of drugs in Manipur
Continuing the war on drugs in Manipur, a team of Imphal West District Police while carrying out a random frisking and checking routine near Lilong Bridge in Imphal West, arrested
Continuing the war on drugs in Manipur, a team of Imphal West District Police while carrying out a random frisking and checking routine near Lilong Bridge in Imphal West, arrested two drug peddlers and seized Heroin powder from their possession.
During the frisking routine, the police team intercepted an Auto coming from Lilong.
Upon searching the driver and another accomplice, two soap cases containing Heroin powder were recovered from the individuals.

The driver has been identified as Md. Ali khan from Hapta and the accomplice has been identified as Md. Ajijur from Borayangbi Makha Leikai, Bishnupur.
Accordingly, the drugs were seized from their possession.
After observing formalities the duo was arrested and a case has been registered for investigation.
