Greater Tipraland: Will Centre respond?

TIPRA MOTHA is not going to link it's constitutional demands with political adjustments. Pradyot confident of success in polls.

The TIPRA Women’s Federation took to the streets in Agartala backing the demand for Greater Tipraland.
Hundreds of TWF members from across the state participated in the march in their traditional attire as they also raised slogans in support of TIPRA Motha Supremo Pradyot Kishore Deb Barman.

Soon after the rally, TIPRA MOTHA chief Pradyot Kishore Debbarma inaugurated the conference of TIPRA Women’s Federation. Addressing the gathering, the TIPRA MOTHA chief said that his party is receiving a lot of support from the grass-root level as he cited about the turnout in the TWF rally.

Besides, the Tripura Royal scion also laid stress on women empowerment and feels that Tripura cannot progress until and unless the women are empowered, which constitutes 50% of the state’s population.

When asked if the Centre or the BJP central leadership has responded to the demand for talks to resolve the Greater Tipraland issue, the TIPRA Motha Supremo mentioned, he is confident that as and when the elections come closer they are surely going to get some sort of response.

Besides, Pradyot assured that the TIPRA MOTHA is not going to link their constitutional demands with political adjustments.
