Separate Garoland demand gains momentum

The Garoland State Movement Committee and the National Federation for New States is all set to mount pressure on the government.

The demand for a separate Garoland state is all set to gain momentum. The Garoland State Movement Committee and the National Federation for New States will take to the streets before gathering at the Te` teng Aja Playground, Tura on October 29.

Nikman Marak, who is the vice-president of the National Federation for New States said that separate state demand leaders from across the nation will be joining the mega rally.

Nikman further urged everyone to join the Garoland demand issue irrespective of sex, religion, clan, race, qualification etc. While calling for unity, the NFNS leader said that if everyone stands united becomes possible to clear any obstacle.

Leaders demanding separate Ladakh, Bundelkhand, Vidarbha, Purvanchal, Harit Pradesh, Gorkhaland, Bodoland, Tripraland, Dimasa, Karbi, Mithila, Vindhya Pradesh states are likely to join the rally.
