Breakthrough for Assam & Meghalaya Police: Dreaded bike lifters arrested

The bike lifters had reportedly created panic by stealing bikes in different parts of Meghalaya and Assam.

In a big breakthrough, the Assam Police in a co-ordinated effort with Meghalaya Police busted a gang of bike lifters.

The bike lifters had reportedly created panic by stealing bikes in different parts of Meghalaya and Assam.

4 stolen 2-wheelers were recovered from the possession of the accused bike lifters.

The accused have been identified as as Harish Das, Dipu Teran, Dibyajyoti Saikia, Shemphang Shadap, Maldini Sangpliang, Bandraplang Malai, Jodamin Malai and Vicky Malai.

Further investigation into the case is underway.
