The youth identified as 26-year-old Hirakjyotyi Bora had reportedly come to Guwahati on March 9 for business purposes.

However, there has been no trace of him since then. Now, it is being speculated that Hirakjyoti might have joined the ULFA-Independent.
The news of Hirakjyoti, son of Bhadrakanta Bora and Manorama Bora, possibly joining the ULFA-Independent has triggered apprehension in the Kumarpara area of Darrang.
