In a major breakthrough, troops of the Indian Army in a joint operation with Tinsukia Police foiled a recruitment drive of ULFA-I by preventing two youths from joining the proscribed outfit.
Based on specific intelligence input, the joint teams launched a well-coordinated operation by setting up a check post and preventing the two youths hailing from Jakaichuk and Baghjan from contacting the recruiter.
