Two siblings –  brother and sister go missing from Guwahati

A close relative of the family has filed an FIR at Basistha police station

In a sensational incident, two siblings, a brother and a sister, went missing from the heart of Guwahati while they were on their way to school on Friday.

As per inputs, the siblings, one studying in Class 9 at Happy Montessori School, and another in Class 2 at BK Academy, went missing from the Bakrapara area at Beltola, Guwahati.

A close relative of the family has filed an FIR at Basistha police station.

It may be mentioned that both siblings used to live with their stepmother and father. However, the father was said to be out of town when the incident took place.

A police probe into the incident is underway.
