Bollywood actor Shruti Hassan arrived yesterday on her maiden visit to Assam with boyfriend and artist Shantanu Hazarika.
Well, addressing mediapersons at the Vivanta hotel in Guwahati, Shurti said that she is awed by Assam’s cultural traditions and even learning Bihu. Shruti even spoke about her interest collaborate with talents from the state.
And Shruti Hassan even enthralled the audiences with a brief performance of Assam’s traditional Bihu dance on stage.

Earlier, taking to the social media, the actress confirmed that she will be arriving in the state on April 9 and will celebrate the festival at Khanapara Ground, Guwahati.
Haasan was accompanied by her boyfriend Santanu Hazarika who is a popular illustrator and doodle artist.
Hazarika hails from Guwahati in Assam and is currently based in Mumbai.
Recently, Hazarika made news for his solo work ‘BLCK’, an iconic display of black and white pieces that unsettle and challenge audience perceptions.
