The Assam government has taken three major decisions for an overall facelift of iconic sites in Sivasagar.
Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma who is in Sivasagar announced that the state government will acquire 78 bighas of land for the beautification and renovation of the Tai Museum in Sivasagar and build an amphitheatre in the premises.
Further, Chief Minister Sarma stated that adequate light and sound will also be installed at the Rang Ghar, and there would be recreation space which will be built in the Rang Ghar campus.
The key decisions were taken by Chief Minister Sarma after he held a key review meeting with district officers and workers of Sivasagar.
The Chief Minister reviewed the iconic ‘Tai Jadughar’ or museam during his visit.
Furthermore, Chief Minister Sarma also announced that the Charaideo Medical College will be set up before 2024, and the construction work is expected to begin soon.
