Mudslide at Noonmati Refinery kills 1, 2 injured

The labourers were digging a pit at the project site when they got trapped due to the mudslide

In a tragic incident, one labourer died and two others were seriously injured after a mudslide hit them.

The incident took place at the project site of Nikon Company inside the Noonmati refinery.

The labourers were digging a pit at the project site. When they entered the pit, the mudslide happened trapping them inside the pit.

All the labourers were immediately rushed to the hospital. One of the labourers who was critically injured was declared dead by the doctor. The deceased has been identified as Karim Ali.
The refinery management initiated an investigation into the matter.
