Mother-son duo found dead under mysterious circumstances in Assam

As per inputs, the son was found hanging, while the mother was found dead on the bed.
In a shocking incident, a mother-son duo was found dead under mysterious circumstances in their residence in Mangaldoi, Assam.
As per inputs, the son was found hanging, while the mother was found dead on the bed. The incident took place at Karim Chowk in Ward No. 6 of the town.
The deceased mother has been identified as Durgeshwari Devi, and the deceased son as Biraj Sarma.
As per the locals, the aged mother had been unwell for last few months, and Biraj, who was her eldest son, was taking care of her.
The locals suspect that, traumatized by the death of his mother, the son died by suicide.
The police have reached the spot, and the body has been sent for a post mortem.
The cause of death is yet to be ascertained.
Further investigation is underway.
