Reports have come in of an attempted rape of a minor girl in Assam’s Behali as well.

The girl was abducted from her home. However, the victim managed to raise an alarm after which the miscreants fled from the spot. Five persons have been picked up in connection with the incident, out of which three have been sent to judicial custody.

Another similar case has been reported from Assam’s Lakhimpur district where miscreants tried to rape a minor. Prime accused Matab Ali is still absconding.
