Man kills aunt, hides body in septic tank in Assam’s Gohpur

There has been a sporadic increase of violent crimes in the state of Assam which have created fear in the minds of people. In the recent past, several such cases have sent shockwave across the state.

The state has reported yet another sensational murder in Gohpur area of Biswanath district where a man mercilessly beat up his aunt with iron and eventually killed her.

The accused has been identified as Dhiren Tamoria, who later hid the body of the deceased inside a septic tank.

Tamoria tried to keep the matter undercover but after the intervention of locals and police officials the body was recovered.

Meanwhile, the culprit is being interrogated rigorously by the Assam Police.

It may be mentioned here that Tamoira already has a criminal background, and was earlier taken into custody for alleged involvement in other offences such as theft, abduction, and murder, among others.
