A man identified as Wahidur Islam was shot by a man named Samim Akhtar in Nagaon's Dhing area
A man was shot twice by another man in Assam’s Nagaon district on Republic Day today.
The man identified as Wahidur Islam was shot by a man named Samim Akhtar in Nagaon’s Dhing area.
Wahidur Islam was shot twice by Akhtar once in the face and once in the waist.
Wahidur Islam has been admitted to a nearby hospital immediately.
Later, locals informed the police about the incident.
However, Akhtar’s motive for shooting Islam is not known yet.
Investigation into the matter is underway.
