A landslide hit the national highway 37 in Cachar district on Monday due to heavy rain, disrupting traffic movement in the area.
The landslide occurred in the Lalpani area in the district.
Several vehicles on both sides got stuck as a result of the landslide. The forceful flow of muddy water cascading down the hill wreaked havoc on the road.
