Jnanpeeth Awardee Nilamoni Phukan no more

The veteran poet breathed his last at 11:55 am at the Gauhati Medical College & Hospital today.
Earlier Nilamoni Phukan was rushed to the Guwahati Medical College and Hospital after his health condition suddenly detoriarated last night. As per inputs, the renowned poet was first admitted at the Sanjeevani Hospital after he complained of breathing issues. However, later he was transferred to the GMCH for better treatment.
