After the incident of a pregnant teacher being attacked and abused, multiple cases of ragging have come to light. A bunch of Class IX, X XI students are creating all

Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Moran. This school is fast becoming the hub of everything that should not happen in a school. From abusing and attacking pregnant teacher to ragging junior students, the senior students are doing everything and bringing shame and bad name to this CBSE school in Dibrugarh.

Just a few days back we reported how a group of 30-40 Class XI students had attacked and abused a pregnant teacher. They were almost in the verge of hitting her.

Now reports have come in that a bunch of Class IX, X XI students have been torturing and ragging junior students for months together.

The school authority had suspended 22 students for six months for the attack on the pregnant teacher. After this action was taken and the incident was reported across media, several parents came forward to complain before the media about how their children were ragged by senior students.

“My child was being beaten with belt for hours together,” said a mother in tears.

Guardians are now demanding that the 22 students be expelled from the school. Aggrieved students and guardians gheraoed the Shillong regional head of JNV who visited the school and demanded that action be taken against the 22 students.

On November 27, 2022, five-month pregnant teacher of the school was attacked, abused and threatened by Class XI students of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya. A mob of 30-40 boys attacked her simply because she had reported to their parents about their poor performance and low marks during a parents-teachers-meeting (PTM).
