In a big breakthrough, Police busted a fake currency racket in Lengripara area of Assam’s Mangaldoi.
Police also seized a fake-currency minting machine, and fake currency notes amounting to several lakhs of rupees.
As many as six persons including three women have been arrested in connection with the fake currency racket.
As per reports, Police conducted a raid based on specific intel at a rented house in Lengripara area and successfully arrested 6 persons involved in the racket.

Meanwhile what is even more shocking is that during interrogation it was revealed that the arrested individuals are also involved in a prostitution racket.
The arrested have been identified as Anwar Hussain, Syed Hussain, Zaman Hussain, Rijuma Hussain, Joba Das, and Priya Rai.
