Alert over Dengue outbreak in Assam’s Karbi Anglong

The Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC) has declared closure of all educational institution for 5 days starting tomorrow.
The situation arising out of the dengue outbreak in Assam’s Karbi Anglong district has reached an alarming situation.
Considering the gravity of the situation the Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC) has declared closure of all educational institution for 5 days starting tomorrow.
As per inputs, NHM Mission Director Dr MS Lakhmipriya took stock of the situation as a team of medical experts from Guwahati have already rushed to Diphu.
Meanwhile, 3 people have lost their lives in the vector borne disease with almost 300 people affected in Karbi Anglong.
