Assam: Professor accused of physically torturing a minor

In the past few months, Assam has reported multiple child abuse cases. Months after the sensational Dr. Sangeeta Datta child abuse incident, another case of alleged torture of a child has come to fore in Guwahati.

As per inputs, a professor has been accused of physically abusing a 10-year-old minor.

The minor was subjected to torture for the past 2 years, and was recovered from an apartment named Piya Exotica in the city.

The accused professor and her husband have been detained by police after a case was registered against them at Bhagaduttapur police post.
