In the midst of further police probes, police have busted a Jihadi training camp in the middle of Morigaon town.
The main accused and Ansarul Bangla team terrorist Abu Tallah was running the terror training camp and had been mobilizing his operations from this very spot.
Tallah was staying in a rented house in Morigaon and had been running the terror training camp along with Mufti Mustafa and others.
Apart from this, another accused, the Imam of the local Noor Mosque, identified as Ahmad Ali, is also absconding since July 29.
Meanwhile, the government on July 28 sealed a Jami-ul Huda madrassa after police busted a terror module. The police had also arrested linkman Mufti Mustafa from the madrassa for conspiring with the Bangladesh-based Ansar Ullah Bangla team member Amiruddin Ansari.
The Assam Police had also seized incriminating documents, mobile phones and bank passbooks, and more.
It is learned that Mufti Mustafa had opened the infamous madrassa on 2018.
