Assam police arrests 10 PFI leaders in multiple raids

As per inputs, police raided the PFI office in Guwahati's Hatigaon area where PFI leader Aminul Hoque was arrested.
The Assam Police has arrested at least 10 leaders of the PFI in multiple raids. As informed by the police, the PFI members were arrested for allegedly conspiring anti-establishment propaganda with communal overtones and polarising on religious lines throughout the state, thereby posing a serious threat to internal security.
As per inputs, police raided the PFI office in Guwahati’s Hatigaon area where PFI leader Aminul Hoque was arrested. On the other hand, a PFI member identified as Farhad Ali Ahmed was arrested from Dispur.
Furthermore, as many as four PFI members were arrested from Nagarbera. They have been identified as Abdul Razzak, Nazrul Islam Bhuyan, Robiul Hussain, and Rafikul Islam.
On the other hand, a PFI member identified as Bazlul Karim has been arrested from Karimganj. All the arrested persons have been kept in police custody at the special branch in Guwahati’s Kahilipara.
