Assam: Over 3000 people join UPPL party today in Fakiragram

The grand joining programme held at the Fakiragram Public high school ground, was attended by several leaders of the BTR administration.

In a big shot in the arm for the United People’s Party Liberal (UPPL), over 3000 new members from different parties including AIUDF, Congress and BPF joined the party today during a mass joining programme.
The joining ceremony was organised by Liberal Fakiragram block committee of UPPL.
The grand joining programme held at the Fakiragram Public high school ground, was attended by several leaders of the BTR administration.
BTR Chief Pramod Boro, who was the chief guest on the occasion, while speaking to the media said that the primary vision of UPPL and the BJP is to bring peace and unity in BTR.
“Following the rise of peace in the region, BTR residents may now can think about development. Several residents from different BTR areas plan to join UPPL, and I welcome them,” Boro stated.
“The Assam chief minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma aims to make the state one of the most developed in the country, and he will soon succeed in this endeavor”, Boro added.
UPPL General Secretary Raju Kumar Narzary, East Kokrajhar MLA Lawrence Islary, and UPPL women wing’s president Pratibha Brahma were among the dignitaries who attended the program.
