The recovery of an elderly person’s body in Assam’s Golaghat district has triggered sensation and has put the safety of senior citizens once again under question. What is even more shocking is that 6 months ago, the wife of the deceased was also allegedly murdered.
As per inputs, the body of reitred Arunachal Pradesh government employee, Kokheswar Gogoi was found this morning at his residence. Gogoi was found blindfolded. It has been learnt that the incident took place, the day when Gogoi was preparing for rituals after the demise of his wife.
Daughter of the deceased said, “My mother too was found under similar circumstances 6 months ago. This time it has happened with my father. Looking at whatever has happened it seems the same person (perpetrator) is involved in this.”
