Assam: Dance trainer, brother arrested for allegedly molesting student

The complainant has filed a case with the Golaghat police following which a case has been registered under relevant sections of the POCSO Act.
A shocking case of alleged molestation by a dance trainer and his brother has come to light from Eastern Assam’s Golaghat district. As per inputs, the complainant has alleged that she had to undergo the traumatic phase of her life ever since she joined the dance training academy in 2014.
The complaint has been lodged against accused Ananta Narayan Bora and his brother Durlov Narayan Bora, who were running the Nijora Dance Academy in Golaghat town.
The complainant has also alleged that other trainees of the academy too had to face similar situation and has now reportedly taken to campaign through social media seeking justice.
It is learnt that following a written complaint, a case has been registered under relevant sections of the POCSO Act and one of the accused, Ananta Narayan Bora has been arrested. Durlov Narayan Bora, the other accused in the case is reportedly absconding.
The entire incident came to light after the compalinant uploaded a video on social media describing whatever had happened.
