Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma who is in flood-hit Barak Valley. Chief Minister Sarma is making an aerial survey of the deluged Silchar town. He is being accomapanied by Silchar MP Rajdeep Roy, DCs and SPs. Chief Minister Sarma is also slated to hold meetings with the Deputy Commissioners of Cachar, Hailakandi and Karimganj and take stock of the flood scenario.
