In a shocking incident, the dead body of a 10th standard student was found inside a school hostel in the Jagun area of Assam’s Tinsukia district.
As per reports, the student was found dead inside the school’s hostel, with local sources saying that the body was discovered a short while ago. Adding to the suspicion, the student’s hands were found tied, leading locals to suspect foul play.
Reportedly, an irate mob has gathered inside the campus, creating a tense situation. The school, which enrolls students from both Assam and Arunachal Pradesh, is currently under scrutiny.
In response to the incident, SDPO Margherita, Samvhabi Mishra, has rushed to the scene with security forces to control the situation and investigation into the matter is underway.
This incident comes just a day after a student of the University of Science and Technology, Meghalaya (USTM) in Guwahati was found dead yesterday, 31st July. The deceased was a class 12 student from Lakhipur in Goalpara and was part of the VISION-50 program. Preliminary investigations suggested that he committed suicide, but the suspicious circumstances have raised many questions.
Both incidents have sparked significant concern in the respective areas, with authorities assuring thorough and swift investigations to uncover the truth behind these tragic events.
