Police arrested three youths for performing dangerous car stunts on a busy road connecting Morigaon town with Nagaon in Assam

The thrill of performing stunts on roads may seem appealing to many, but the reality is far from glamorous. In a recent incident from Assam, Morigaon Police arrested three youths for performing dangerous car stunts on a busy road connecting Morigaon town with Nagaon.

The arrested youths have been identified as Bubul Hussain, Sahil Ahmed, and Sahabul Haque. They were seen dangerously zig-zagging an SUV while two of them hung out from the windows putting themselves in grave danger of getting hit by cars passing by.

This reckless act not only threatens lives but also poses a significant threat to other road users, including cars, two-wheelers, cyclists, and pedestrians. The video, which quickly went viral on social media, sparked outrage among netizens who demanded swift action against the offenders.

Shockingly, this incident was not the only one. Another viral video surfaced, showing around 20 youths riding two-wheelers without helmets, performing stunts accompanied by loud music.

Earlier, three college students – Raj Malakar, Fardin Hussain Choudhury and Kavya Pallav Barua, were detained for doing car stunts, including standing atop a moving vehicle.

Raj Malakar was seen standing atop the car smoking a cigarette while Kavya Palav was hanging himself out from an open front door. As per police reports, Fardin was in the driver’s seat.

Such reckless behaviour raises important questions about the mindset of today’s youth. Are these stunts genuinely a display of smartness or just acts of sheer irresponsibility? Public has been overwhelmingly critical, with many expressing dismay at the growing trend of endangering lives for fleeting social media fame.
