An 18-year old teenager in Assam could have landed in serious trouble, but timely action of a security personnel saved her after he stopped the student from boarding a flight to the national capital.
Prima facie, it seems that she would have fallen prey to a human trafficking racket, had she moved out from Assam.
The student studying in the 11th standard at a higher secondary school, was supposed to travel to Delhi from the Guwahati Airport. But soon the CISF personnel spotted the girl in her school uniform, moving at the airport.
This raised doubt and the CISF personnel informed the matter to the police.
Police from the Borhjar outpost reached the airport and enquired about the matter. During the course of interrogation it was found that she had met a person (Mr Deepanshu), whom she met on Facebook and was going to marry him.
The person allegedly gave her a new mobile number with new number, arranged a flight ticket to Delhi.
Later her parents were contacted by Assam Police personnel. The girl came to airport instead of going back to home from school. The parents have expressed their gratitude to the CISF and Assam Police for saving their only child from the unknown trauma.
DGP Sharma, informed that the two accused have gone underground after the crime.
