In a tragic incident, five Bihu artistes, including a minor girl, was reportedly killed in a road mishap which took place in Gohpur area of Biswanath district in Assam on Saturday.

Reportedly, a 20-member team of ‘Bihu Husori’ were traveling in a Bolero vehicle when the accident took place leading to the death of five.

The deceased persons have been identified as Radhika Daimary, Budhumati Basumatary, Sanjoy Basumatary and Kaliman Basumatary.

Several other were injured during the mishap. They were rushed to Tezpur Medical College and Hospital for medical attention.
