Distribution of 23,000 appointment letters begins in Assam

Assam CM Sarma distributes appointment letter to 23,000 unemployed youths.

In a big step towards addressing unemployment, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma launched a mega appointment letters distribution ceremony.

As many as 23 thousand young boys and girls have been given jobs in at least 11 departments of the state.

These include education, water resources, social work, PHE, and Public Works Department, among others.

The mega appointment distribution ceremony, which is being held at the Khanapara Veterinary College Field, comes as part of the Himanta Biswa Sarma-led Assam government’s commitment to providing jobs to 1 lakh unemployed youth of the state.
