Electricity bills have been increased again in Assam.

The Assam Power Distribution Company Limited has increased the tariff by 30 paise per unit. The increase in tarriffs was announced on December 9 via a notification. The hike in bill comes amid the APDCL’s claim to meet the rising costs of fuel and coal. The new increased prices will be applicable from this month itself.
