Well-known Indian actor and singer Shruti Haasan will visit Assam to celebrate Rongali Bihu.
The actor will be visiting Guwahati for the first time to attend the Rongali festival in Khanapara .
She will be joined by beau Santanu Hazarika, a well-known illustrator and doodle artist from Guwahati who currently resides in Mumbai.
It may be mentioned that earlier last year, Shruti Haasan had herself revealed that she is the one who proposed to Santanu Hazarika.
She had also uploaded a video of the two of them partaking in a couples challenge.
Since their first photo together surfaced on Shruti Haasan’s birthday, the couple has been outspoken about every aspects of their relationship.
Answering a question by a fan, Shruti Haasan shared that she knew about Santanu Hazarika in 2018, but they got together in the beginning of 2020.
Bihu is a set of three important Assamese festivals in the state of Assam. Rongali Bihu also known as Bohaag Bihu marks the beginning of the Assamese New Year and is celebrated mid April every year
